Hotel Policies

  • Reservations must be canceled 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a penalty of one-night room and tax. Any reservation that has a change of dates within 72 hours of check-in will be subject to penalty.

  • All reservations require a credit card deposit of the first night + tax due at time of booking.

  • Room rates are subject to change. Room rates do not include:

    14.5% Paso Robles occupancy tax

    $2.50 + tax daily utility fee

    $25 + tax daily amenity fee (wireless Internet, self-parking, fax services, Linus Bicycles, and continental breakfast)

  • A valid credit card is required at check-in. An incidental hold will be placed on your credit card at check-in and release upon check out. This hold includes the $100 incidental amount + any remaining balance for reservation. We do not recommend Debit Cards for use since this hold will freeze funds in the checking account.

  • Any guest or group reserving five or more rooms is subject to a separate agreement and cancellation policy.

  • Dogs are the only pets permitted at the hotel. A fee of $50 per dog (limit 2) will be added to the reservation. Dogs must be on leash at all times and accompanied by owner at all times. Dogs must not be left alone in rooms at any time during your stay. Failure to adhere to either of these policies could result in a $50 fee per incident.

  • The property provides one parking space per room. River Lodge is not responsible for any damage or theft to vehicles.

  • Lost keys require a locksmith and therefore incur a fee of $200.

  • The pool and hot tub are for hotel guests only. Guests must be 21 and over to access the pool.

  • Our hotel is a non-smoking facility and smoking is not permitted in the rooms or on patios. Smoking is restricted to the designated smoking area by the guest parking lot. Smoking inside could result in a damage assessment of up to $250.

  • Outside food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are prohibited on-site throughout the hotel common areas. Failure to adhere to these policies could result in a $100 fee per incident.

  • We strive to provide a peaceful experience for all guests. Please be mindful of quiet hours from 10pm-8am. Guests can be asked to return to to their rooms if disruptive to other guests.
